Adult Sex: The Pleasure Gap

Heterosexual women and men are missing out on sexual pleasure (the Pleasure Gap) because of undue pressure from ingrained social roles and a blatant misunderstanding of anatomy. Both can easily be resolved.

Man survives earthquakes, epidemics, the horrors of disease, and agonies of the soul, but all the time his most tormenting tragedy has been, is, and will always be, the tragedy of the bedroom. – Leo Tolstoy

AMSTERDAM: Our bedrooms are suffering and we, adults, are terrified to discover the root cause. Have no fear: it’s not you and it’s not me. We’ve just been going about it the wrong way.

The “Pleasure Gap” is the sexual enjoyment we are missing out on and heterosexual women suffer from the widest gap. In order for both heterosexual women and men to close the Pleasure Gap, we first have to free our bedrooms from the ill-informed social pressures coming at it from all sides. We then need an anatomy lesson.

Lucky for us, the world’s foremost sex researcher, Dr. Rik van Lunsen, Retired Head of Sexology & Psychosomatic Ob/Gyn at the University Medical Center Amsterdam, will join us to take us through these few easy steps to full sexual pleasure.

Come welcome Rik to our show!
