LOS ANGELES: with soulful elegance, jazz vocalist Sylvia Brooks is joined by her longtime songwriting collaborator, arranger and co-producer Christian Jacob on her sixth studio album, Soliloquy. The superb pianist leads the band that includes saxophonist Farzin Farhadi, guitarist Grant Geissman, bassist Kevin Axt and drummer Kevin Winard. The album was recorded live at Malibu’s Dragonfly Creek Studios with engineer/mixer Charley Pollard capturing every nuance of Brooks’s captivating music.
