Violence against, and suppression of, political voices is simply not who we are or what we do: that’s Vladimir Putin’s Russia.

BUTLER, PENNSYLVANIA: we Westerners believe that public figures are charged with voicing our hopes, dreams, discontents and pain and inspiring us to action.
Violence against, and suppression of, political voices is simply not who we are or what we do: that’s Vladimir Putin’s Russia - a sterile political body that throws healthcare professionals out of windows because of honest diagnosis, military leaders turn their tanks on each other because of strategic disagreement and political courage is rewarded, quite fittingly, with poisoned underwear.
It’s Bastille Day and high time for us to honor the sacrifices our Western compatriots have been making since before 1789 and 1776. What better way than by unanimously voicing our disapproval of the assassination attempt against Former U.S. President Donald Trump?
An attack against Former President Trump is an attack against the West. Like it or not, he is one of our representatives: our societies are so strong and resilient that we defend the right for all political voices to be heard. Yes, unto death we will defend even a voice calling for the end of our republican rights.
