SUNAPEE, NEW HAMPSHIRE: One of America's most promising young artists will present Sunapee with classic piano repertoire from the advent of the modern piano up to today's composer/pianists.
Piano music staples, composed specifically on and for that instrument, will comprise the program's first half. A dessert reception will be served at intermission. The second half of the evening will be sheer pianistic virtuosity by paraphrases of melodies famous then and now.
This venerable tradition was popular throughout Franz Liszt's touring career and will clearly find supporters after tonight's performance.
