Back in July, the Khudyev brothers, Eldar, Emil and Farkhad, shared with us their improbable journey from Turkmenistan’s Central Music School to the top echelons of the classical music industry in the United States.

No two musicians are alike and Arsentiy Kharitonov will share with us his own unique directions for how to get to Carnegie Hall.

Arsentiy started studying piano at age sixteen and with in three years, he was performing as soloist with Russia’s most prestigious orchestras.  A few years later, as a relatively unknown musician in the United States, he was invited to give his début recital at New York City’s premier classical music hall.

published review of the concert probably speaks for the popular sentiment that evening: “It was surprising to find the house filled to capacity, but when the artist began to play the reason was clear.”

By the way, Arsentiy is also a prolific composer and has written music to accompany not only figure skating competitions but also drone flights.  Come welcome Arsentiy Kharitonov to our show and find out what his next “three year plan” is.
