He was the very first orchestral conducting student at the Universidad EAFIT in Medellín, Colombia. His alma mater is a post-war professional school for New World entrepreneurs with a focus on management, finance and technology. Andrés hardly had time to say goodbye after completing his final exams, he had already begun further studies in Vienna, which would soon, thereafter, become home to his internationally career as well as his multicultural family. So it should come as no surprise that, for the past two decades, Andrés has energetically driven innovation in the performing arts scene of his adopted hometown.
